Translation

  Ft. Lupton, Colorado Dear daughter,

this letter is to greet you, as well as Bill and the kids. Well, we are alright, for which we thank our Lord God.

I will tell you that I wrote to you a long time ago. That same day I got the letters that the kids wrote me, but it has been so cold that I haven’t been to Helen’s house so that Kathy can write for me help me write the letters for the kids. It’s been very cold around here. 25 and 30 below zero. I haven’t even gone to mass since Christmas, but I’ve been worried about you all because you haven’t written me. I’ve dreamt about you all last week, and that’s why   I’ve been worried about you all.

I will tell you that Helen’s baby is starting to walk. He is a very big boy.

Let me know if Jerry writes to you. They say that he is in Alabama. I wrote to him for Christmas, but he didn’t understand what I told him wrote to him because I told him in the letter to send me his picture, but he didn’t tell me mention anything about it. He sent me a Christmas card, but he doesn’t say anything.

Well, I think that this is all for now. Reply as soon as you can. Give our regards our love to Billy boy and Albert, and Pamela and Elizabeth, and to your husband. And for you, receive the finest regards from Max and mom Jesusita Torres.
