la precente es para Saludarlos tanto á ti, como al Bill, y la Pamela, y á todos, esperando que todos esten bien pues así lo deceamos; te escribo estas cuantas linías para desírte que recíví la carta que me manda la Panela; pero tu ní ouna palabra tan siquiera; síquiera fírma tu nombre con tu mano, tan siquiera; para desír que estas vívá Todabia;

bueno yo estoy poquito bíen: Gracías á Diosíto que todabía me tiene aquí en el mundo;

bueno pues como todos los años te mando $20 para que les compres las cristmás á los muchachos, y tu sí puedes mandame unas medías que sean calíentitas; pues yo no se sí te acordaras de una ves que tu me conprates una medías del mangamar Wrd, bueno yo ne se como se escríbe esa palabra,   pero si es la tienda grande; que ay aquí en Denver; y Max tambien medías;

bueno y píenzo sera todo por esta ves, y tambíen quería preguntar de la jane; esta este año á la escuela ó no; pues otras veces me escribe. pero no me escrito ní tu, ni la baby; y siempre no te desentiendas; te lo suplíco, por favor escribeme

  Fort Lupton, Colorado December 17,-- 1964 Dear daughter,

this letter is to greet you, Bill, and Pamela, and everyone, hoping that you are all well, as is our wish. I write you these few lines to tell you that I received the letter that Pamela sent me. But from you, not a word. At least sign your name by hand, so that I may know that you’re still alive.

Well, I’m somewhat well, thank God, who still has me here on earth.

All right, as every year, I’m sending you $20 so you can buy the kids something for Christmas. And if you can, send me some stockings that are warm. Montgomery Ward Well, I don’t know how to spell that word,   but it’s the big store, they have one here in Denver.And for Max socks, too.

Okay I think that will be all for now. And I also wanted to ask you about Jane. Is she going to school this year or not? She writes to me sometimes, but hasn’t written lately, nor have you or the baby. Don’t forget, I beg of you. Write to me, please.
