It’s Saturday morningand I’m waiting for the gang to eat breakfast so we can eat then I’ll sell commissary so while I’m in the mood I’ll let you know that I’m thinking of you and love you. Hope that you are having a good time. Did you see Terry and Johnny? How is Jess doing? Tell everyone “Hello”. Last night some fellows bought me a tank full of gas and gave me a dollar to take them to Sterling. I’m going in to Lincoln this afternoon to see about getting the trailer house. Wanted to go this morning but have to wait as ice is suppose to come in today. It looks as if camp is going to be here all of next week yet; so maybe by the time we finish here they will be ready for us at Grand Island, I hope.

Write me as soon as you have time. Let me know if you want anything and I’ll send it to you. Will write you this evening. Remember that I love you very much.

Es sábado en la mañana y estoy esperando que la cuadrilla termine de desayunar para que podamos comer y después venderé en el economato, así que mientras estoy de humor te diré que estoy pensando en ti y que te amo. Espero que te estés divirtiendo. ¿Viste a Terry y a Johnny? ¿Cómo está Jess? Díles “hola” a todos de parte mía. Anoche unos compañeros me pagaron un tanque de gasolina y me pagaron un dólar para llevarlos a Sterling. Iré a Lincoln hoy en la tarde para ver si conseguimos el tráiler. Quería ir hoy en la mañana pero tengo que esperar porque el hielo supuestamente llega hoy. Parece que el campamento todavía va a estar aquí toda la próxima semana. Quizá para cuando terminemos aquí ya van a estar listo para recibirnos en Grand Island, eso espero.

Escríbeme en cuanto tengas tiempo. Dime si quieres algo y te lo mandaré. Te escribiré hoy en la noche. Recuerda que te amo mucho.
