Ft. Lupton, Colorado My dear daughter,

this letter is to greet you, Bill and the kids. I hope this letter finds you well and healthy. We are well, thank God. Well, it’s true that Max had the flu, but he is alright now. The same for Jesse and Helen, who had the flu but are now alright. I haven’t caught it, neither have the kids Kathy and Jerry, blessed be God. Well, daughter, I want to tell you that when you are ill and want me to go there I can at least help out or at least keep you company, because as you know, my legs are not well.

My heart tells me when something is wrong with you, we are a little far away from each other, but my heart is very close to you. Mainly the only consolation, and it is indeed a great consolation for me

is that I always entrust you to the Holy Family   and to the Virgin, who helped me to raise you since you were Little. So I hope that you are a good mother for your children, and a good wife for your husband, and when you have sorrows, there is nothing like the sweet names of Jesus and Mary, and Joseph. Go to them for everything anything. I worry about you I am sad because of youbecause I think you never go to confession or receive the holy sacraments. Finally, I still don’t know, even now, if you have your marriage certificate or not, you’ve never told me about this. Well, daughter, be that as it may anyway in any case I ask you always to be patient and seek what is good.

Well, I believe this will be all. Many Regards Much love from all of us. Don’t take too long to write to me

Your mother who wishes you well in everything Jesusita B. Torres
