Translation

Ft. Lupton, Colorado Mrs. Santos B. Schubert Dear daughter,

this letter is to greet all of you, hoping that you are all well, as are my wishes, that you are all healthy.

Here, we have been well, me too, I’m better than well. You will remember that when you came, I told you that I was feeling a little under the weather. Well, I finally had to come here to Brighton Hospital. I had surgery again. I’ve been here for two weeks. I was admitted on October 22, but I’m already feeling better. Well, the Doctor says that I’ll have to stay here till the wound closes. Well, don’t worry, I feeling much better. And how have you been? I wrote you two letters, this one makes three. I hope you will now answer me   so that I can know at least, if you wrote to me at home.

Well, I think this will be all for now. Regards love for everyone, also from Jess and family. Oh, I had forgotten to tell you that Jerry is here and says he’s going to stay here in Ft. Lupton.

Regards from Max and me. May God help both you and us.

The Lord bless you, Jesusita Torres.
